Let's Try This Again

We were all waiting for the diversity lottery results to be posted, and for the last several days there has been an error message posted on the Department of State's website. Yesterday it was announced that the reason for the error message is that the lottery goofed. A computer glitch made the selection process anything but random. In fact, 90% of the lottery picks were submissions on the first 2 days of eligibility. Not random.

In order to ensure a random draw, therefore, the Department of State has invalidated their initial picks for the 2012 diversity lottery, and will have another lottery. Results are to be announced in July, hopefully.
