"Green Cards" are Going to be Green!

The "Green Card" or more formally, the Permanent Resident Card, has been recently redesigned.  The new card, as per USCIS will contain:

Holographic images, laser engraved fingerprints, and high resolution micro-images will make the card nearly impossible to reproduce.  Tighter integration of the card design with personalized elements will make it difficult to alter the card if stolen.  Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) capability will allow Customs and Border Protection officers at ports of entry to read the card from a distance and compare it immediately to file data.  Finally, a preprinted return address will enable the easy return of a lost card to USCIS.
My favorite part of this resdesign?  Anyone who has seen a 'green card' knows that it's not green.  It's white.  The name came from a previous version, which hasn't been in existence for many years, though its name has lived much longer.  The new card, however, will be GREEN!  Don't ask me why I think this is so fantastic.  Maybe it's one less question to answer (why is my green card white?).  Yep.  That's it.
